Day 11 - A picture of something you hate
I dont hate anything. But I dislike a lot. The top 2:
IGNORANCE
SAGGING PANTS
I do not want to see your nasty "draws" sorry I had to say it. Hygiene is not always #1 with people and I dont want to see your butt!!! I cant walk outside with my breast exposed. So what make you think you can walk around with your butt exposed???

Day 10 - A picture of the person you do the most ****** up things with
I didn't get into a lot of trouble, but I did have a road dog....Sue Lynn. We did a lot together as young women. A lot of things we didn't think thru but experienced from. No JAIL Time though...LOL!!!!!!

Day 08 - A picture that makes you laugh
Steve Harvey is hilarious!!!! I love his honesty mixed with comedy. His jokes is not about talking and critizing others...that's not comedy. Whenever I see his picture I remember something he said funny and it hits a funny bone. He is crazy!!!!
My 1st AVON Product Review
Ok, Now that I'm in the business of Avon I MUST, MUST, MUST be a testimony to their products.
So far I'm enjoying the products I have ordered for myself with each campaign and waiting for that courier to arrive to my house on Saturdays. It's like Christ-mas for me every 2 weeks--LOL!!!!! My 1st of many reviews. I will not dis any item, but give my honest opinion on how it's working for ME. I will also point out anything informative regarding that product.
Avon Foot Works Dual Action Pedi-Peel
This is a pedicure regimen using glycolic acid and aloe to improve your foot's appearance and texture.
Glycolic Acid is a fruit acid derived from the sugar cane and has an excellent capability to penetrate the skin. It is considered to be a natural skin exfoliant and moisturizer leaving your skin softer and smoother if used properly and consistently. Aloe has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. It contains ingredients that help to encourage cell regeneration and healing and is high in collagen proteins, which makes aloe vera a good source for moisturizing and slowing the skin aging process. This pedi product is used every other day and there is 22 pads in the container, so this is a 11 day supply since you are using 1 cotton pad per foot.
My Review: It has a really "fresh" smell. I like it. I wipe each foot with a pad until it is dry(it is really saturated with the solution). I prop my feet up to air dry. Maybe for 5 minutes, then I go on with my day. Every time I shower I use my pumice stone to my feet to help the exfoliating process. Then after my feet are dry I apply a moisturizer to make sure my feet don't look dry. I will be buying my daughter and mother some of this to use to help maintain their "smooth summer feet".
I hope this review helps you with understanding this product. I'm loving how my feet are feeling. I don't have that hardened heel issue anymore.
FYI: Callous and corns are produced by the friction you experience when walking some of your shoes and sandals. The use of a pedi razors or metal files strips away healthy skin causing your feet to become even more irritated. Your foot defense is to build more skin to protect the injured. Causing the over accumulation of skin thus becoming hardened.
Day 07 - A picture of your most treasured item
I don't have treasured item. Material things are just that. But what I do cherish is............................
Fri......Day 06 - A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day
A picture of your favorite memory
Scoobi.. RIP 2-14-10
She was taken away from me due to irresponsible owners of 2 pit bulls. I loved her dearly and she was my "fat girl". Unconditional love is what she expressed all the time.

I'm a AVON Chick!!!
Getting Started!!!!!
So this blog is going to be about Monetary Prosperity. I am searching for ways to make extra $, moolah, denairos, etc. etc. etc in this economy. Working just 40hrs a week is not cutting it anymore. Heck gas is gonna be a all time high of $5 before this year is up. I have to remain in my house. I have to keep my car. So it's time to change the way I'm thinking and birth my own prosperity. Money will not fall from the sky. I know that. But working so hard where I don't have a life I most definitely do not invite. So I am going to venture out and find some easy and inexpensive home businesses I can run which in return can provide a comfortable living for my family and I. I will never negatively blast any ventures I may take. I will only give you my experiences on it.
My newest venture is AVON.(I'm singing "Avon" like an opera singer ending her song--LOL!!!). I'm singing it because I am really interested and enjoying what I'm doing so far. I have a few more business ventures I will be embarking on this year also. I have put ZamZuu on the back burner for now. Will explain that in a blog at a later time. Still see the concept, but have lost the passion for it right now. Most definitely will be touched upon soon.
OK, AVON.......(pausing to reflect about this company). My best friend Georgia has had a AVON business for years now. I never really thought of selling Avon until my job laid off over 100 people back in April of this year. And to my surprise one of them was the Avon lady. Things were changing fast. The 50hrs/week that I was accustomed to working have been cut(but I still work from sun up to sun down--what the heck??). I'm thinking I may have to stop school....AGAIN!!!!.........AGAIN!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Can I just get finished?? So I thought of all my coworkers who were still employed and do not have an Avon lady anymore. Why not approach this methodically. I vowed to myself I WILL NOT! I repeat WILL NOT allow a corporation to pull the rug from up under me unprepared and I will have to desperately wonder where my next dollar will come from. I allowed that to happen twice in a 2yr span. I was devastated. So it's time to budget and save for an event like this. A lay off can happen again at any time. I know I have to provide my income. So many people are devastated when that pink slip comes, of course unexpected. I don't want to be one of them. No breakdowns. No sour feelings in the pit of my stomach. I only want calmness if that time comes for me. I WANT TO BE PREPARED. I googled many hours about work from home businesses for women and didn't really find anything that suited me. I'm not a stay at home mom with little kids. I'm a single mother of a recently Campbell HS graduate soon to be Savannah State Tiger. I am about to be a empty nester. And need to be able to pay my son's way through school as well as me finishing my degree(I feel 17yrs of obstacles is enough!) So I thought of direct sales again. I have done Mary Kay and Slumber Parties before. But you need kits to get started. Don't have the revenue for that at the moment. So I then searched CareerBuilder to update my resume and that's when I saw it. Someone placed an Avon ad. I hit the link. Submitted my info and Jan called me in about 30 minutes. We talked briefly about the business and why I wanted to do it. And then I found out it only cost $10 to get started. WHAT!!!!! No kit for $200? I had to call Georgia to find out why she didn't tell me this years ago.....She thought I already knew. Jan gave me homework to do. I had to jot down 50 names and then set a date to meet. I was excited to find out more. I had a good vibe on this. I remember a childhood friend of mine mother sold Avon over 20yrs ago. She had Avon products all over the house. And to know that now NO INVENTORY IS NEEDED is GREAT!!! I was ready to get started that day. I prayed on this until our meeting.
Jan and I met on a Wed. morning and we talked for about 1.5hrs while sitting in a McDonald's lobby. She gave me all the info I needed to know about Avon. The history, their foundations, the training and support and the inspiration I needed to give Avon a try. Hey it was only for $10!(plus a website). I got a kit full of brochures and training material to read. I was ready. So I got started. Prepared my brochures, sent out emails from my website regarding my Grand Opening. Took brochures to work with me to pass out.
And after 1.5 months of being in business I profited $125. I'm starting with small goals and working myself up. No big expectations. No overnight sensations. I understand I can MAKE more if I DO more. More energy put into my business more results I will see. Avon has an on line training classroom to teach new reps the basics on their business. All reps can also join the community forum and read and share ideas and tips in running a successful business. I am learning a lot. I have a client base of about 10 women and 3 men so far. Yes, I said men. They like certain Avon products too. AVON is not all about makeup....... LOL!!!!! And out of the 10 women I have 3 asking me about the business. I'm taking it slow and gonna be there to help them thru the process if they take on this venture too.
I will come and blog periodically about the progress in my business and to give info on Avon products I'm using. I think this is going to be a good fit for me because it is so easy to do in my consumed life that I have right now. I BELIEVE in what AVON represents. I will share more on that in future blogs as well. I'm also going to share ALL that I learn to other women who want to start their own business. I'm looking to empower and inspire as many women as I can. Everybody wants to be successful!!! And if we share a little of the knowledge we have it can happen..............
If you are interested in this or know of the perfect woman who is interested share my blog with her.
I'm ready to inspire, empower and motivate!!!!

LET'S CELEBRATE SELF-LOVE
I LOVE AFFIRMATIONS
IT IS 2011!!! The New Year is REALLY here and we need to become more positive in our lives more than anything. Every turn you make you see negative things. From the media to politics to even our own households(marriages, children, ourselves). So how do we include that into our daily routine?? Two important things we need to do is believe in ourselves and believe in the power of our God. He will guide you right……ALWAYS!!!! Last year (yes, 2010 is gone) I read a lot of articles and books on embracing a positive lifestyle. Thinking positive, being positive and living positive is the only way I want to be. Why are there so many obstacles in my(our) way??? Why are so many people sharing a positive mind but complaining of their negative lives??? So, my goal was to dig deeper into finding ways to help people (and myself) get to where we need to be. And I have found one way that will assist in doing so……... “Affirmations”!!!!!
A lot of people don’t have confidence in themselves anymore. With all the turmoil in our economy negative way of thinking is becoming normal. People have lost their homes and cars. Lost their jobs. Lost their life savings. Lost their families. Lost their way…….Gratitude and being humble is not a priority anymore. So many people have been thrown out of their comfort zone that they are no longer happy. And negativity have increased. So, today we are taking back our happiness and confidence so we can stand tall again.
An affirmation is recognizing or confessing the TRUTH into something. Putting it into the atmosphere. Putting positive energy out there about you to bring positive energy back to you. So, in essence you want to recognize the truth or confess the truth in everything you do. Recognize the truth or confess the truth in everything about you.
Now, we want to kick all negative affirmations out the window!!! Kick it right out of your mind!!!! Fight it head on!!!! After kicking negative ways and thinking from your mind you MUST BELIEVE in everything POSITIVE.
You must become a True Optimist. There is no room for pessimism.
Lesson #1---“Time to say Good-Bye to Negative Thinking
You will need 2 pieces of paper for this.
Write down at least 10 negative (yes negative) descriptions about yourself. Something you know you do not like about yourself. Go on you know what they are. Write them down….All of them. You missed one. Add that one too. You hear them in your head everyday. Don’t be shy now. Get all of them out.
Okay, now take the 2nd page of paper and write the opposite of each negative description.
e.g. NEGATIVE: I’m chatterbox(oh lord, yes I am)-à POSITIVE: I will talk more of positive things(being talkative is not all that bad—it’s the content I talk about-I want to get rid of gossip(speaking and listening). See where I did not say “I gossip too much”--"GOSSIP" is a negative word. I want to continue talking, just in a positive manner.
After writing a positive rebuttal to all your negative list it is time to say good-bye. Now take that negative list and start to rip it into very small pieces shouting out into your space with a positive attitude about yourself:
“I will no longer be a hostage to negative thinking”
Now each new positive sentence will become your affirmations designed specifically for you.
Change And Positive Thinking has now taken place………………………………………
Lesson #2---“Rebuilding the Positive You”
Okay, you have changed in your mind all the negative qualities against you. So, let’s rebuild thy self back up. Let’s start believing in “ME” again. If you can’t believe in yourself, who will? Believing in yourself and what you do is the stepping stone you need in 1 step of self happiness. Nobody can give you that. You must create that. So, in conjunction of transforming negative thinking into positive thinking lets add on more affirmations to confirm that.
Think of somebody you truly adore. Think of somebody you envy (I said it “envy”—I know this is a negative word. You will see the logic in it). It can be anybody. Parent, sibling, teacher, best friend, famous person…heck even the President or his wife.
· Get another piece of paper. Yes, you have to write again.
Write down what you like about this person. And be general about them.
Now with each entry you are going to place yourself into that description. So, let’s say you picked Oprah and you said “Oprah is a very caring a woman”.
You will now change it to: “Oprah Torya is a very caring a woman”.
Put each expression on an index card so you can read them to yourself throughout the day. Take the index cards with you where ever you go and incorporate them into your life. The more you say SELF-LOVE to yourself the quicker you will believe yourself.
If you can think of such nice and positive things of another person wouldn’t you want to possess those qualities too?
Now if you are confused with the word "envy" just think of someone you hated on. Do not sit there and say you have never done it. Everybody has done it at least once intentionally or unintentionally. Think about what it is that burns you so much about that person, e.g. “She thinks she is somebody special driving that Mercedes”.
So, now write your affirmation:
“I will own a quality car suited just for me within my lifestyle and budget”
That affirmation will prepare you and your mind into the steps of buying that good quality car that is just right for you.
And now you can put an end to that negative way of thinking about that person. Hey, that person may just become a very close acquaintance of yours:-)
Lesson #3--you can DREAM...........that helps with being positive.
I know I got you doing a lot of writing, but writing the truth about you is vital in helping you understand about being positive. Visualization of positive words of yourself is fundamental in shaping a more positive and happier you.
You need 3 columns (or even 3 pages). You will write all your desires for each. Indulge yourself the freedom to dream.
1st-How I like to be
2nd-What I like to have
3rd-What I like to do
Stay in present tense with your dreaming. You can never get the past back. You can always place the present into your future.
Once you have wrote those desires down. You are going to write a gratitude list and give thanks to:
1st-What you are
2nd-What you have
3rd-What you are already doing
It is part of the process to reminisce and give appreciation to the things in your life already. In order to become more positive you have to possess some humbleness, respect and happiness to who you are already. If you are not content in where you are in your life at this moment what make you think you can move forward??? You have to be HAPPY with you. With all the right judgments, mistakes, flaws and fine points you have to be okay with YOU. Being POSITIVE is not just for self. It’s for you to nourish on and then to encourage and support others into affirming this as well. This will keep the cycle of being positive going in a full circle.
I believe that doing these little exercises will put you 1 step ahead of yourself in becoming a positive person and loving you.
Good Luck with 2011 and think Positive in everything you do.
Don't forget to spread my message so others can learn about positive thinking too. Thank You!!!!!
Until next time...........................LEARN~PROSPER~GROW
